The 4 IUMC partners are government institutions and rank in the top 1% of universities worldwide. For over 30 years the IUMC has been accepting international students onto their programmes. The overseeing committee of the IUMC consortium consists of the Dean of the 4 medical schools within the partner universities.
The IUMC’s Singapore office outside of Ireland guides Singapore students and international students studying in Singapore throughout the application process, interviews, accommodation and enrolment onto their degree programme in Ireland.

The IUMC partner universities have a reputation for producing excellent clinicians and subsequently, Irish-trained doctors hold leading positions in the world’s top medical institutes. This is due in no small part to the early, consistent and varied clinical exposure that is a hallmark of medical training in Ireland.
